Japanese stainless steel exports hike in Oct -The 20th China(Guangzhou)Int'l Stainless Steel Industry Exhibition

According to the statistics from the Iron and Steel Institute of Japan (ISIJ), Japan exported around 88,000 tons of stainless steel products this October, up by 9.9% compared to the previous month. Among them, the exports to China had a month-on-month increase of 8.7%, South Korea had a decline of 21.5%, Taiwan had an increase of 13.9%, the US had an increase of 13.2%, and Thailand had a decrease of 15.5%.
In addition, the exports of special steel (excluding stainless steel) totaled around 616,000 tons in October, up by 14.7% from last month; those of special steel (including stainless steel) were around 704,000 tons, a month-on-month hike of 14%.
