According to the statistics, the imports of stainless steel products in Taiwan totaled around 103,000 tons in January this year, an increase of 29% compared to the previous month. Among them, only the imports of cold-rolled stainless steel and wire rod had a reduction during this period. The imports of hot-rolled stainless steel hiked by 37% compared to last month, which was mainly due to a sharp increase in 304 black coil from Indonesia with a total of 40,000 tons above.
In addition, the exports of stainless steel products amounted to 100,600 tons, a month-on-month hike of 4%. Among them, the exports of hot-rolled stainless steel and section steel had a month-on-month decrease.
