Reportedly, the Japanese mills have announced to hold the purchasing prices for Sabot stainless scrap unchanged at ￥165,000~170,000/ton for January from the previous month.
Japanese stainless steel mills will adjust their output in the first quarter, in an effort to minimize their inventory.
Currently, demand for stainless steel remained slow in the domestic market.
