Latin American imports of Chinese steel rises for Q1-2017 China(Guangzhou) Int’l Bearing and Equipment Exhibition

The Latin American Steel Association recently released data showed that 2017-year Latin American countries imported steel from China totaled 1.9 million tons in the first quarter of 2017, increased by 8% compared with the same period of last year.
In the first quarter of this year, the Latin American countries imported 1.2 million tons of steel products from China, accounted for 63% of the total imports of steel from China; the Latin American countries imported 420,000 tons of long products from China, accounted for 22% of the total steel imports from China; the imported 62,000 tons of seamless steel tube from China, accounted for 3% of the total imports from China.
