According to the sources, United States Steel might permanently close Lorain steel plant in next March.
United States Steel was known for producing small-diameter of seamless pipe at its no.4 seamless pipe mill, started idle in 2015. There were about 200 workers affected.
Meanwhile, although the possibility of some workers from No.4 seamless pipe mill might return to work at No.3 mill, but officially closed will depend on the actual situation.
