APL Apollo Tubes to acquire one unit of Taurus Value Steel & Pipes- The 20th China (Guangzhou ) Int’l tube & pipe Processing Equipment Exhibition

APL Apollo Tubes Ltd has announced the acquisition of assets of production unit located at Chegunta Hyderabad, one of the unit of Taurus Value Steel & Pipes Private Limited. The consideration to be paid is cash payment of INR 70 crore. Taurus Value Steel & Pipes Private Limited was incorporated 2009 and has a capacity of 200,000 tonnes per annum. The company had a turnover of INR 773.7 crores in FY 2017-18.
APL Apollo said “The acquisition will result in higher volumes, better competitive strength and reduced freight cost.”
