It is reported that Turkish wire rod market demand remained stable in the past week, but price had increased by US$20/ton, because of import scrap and small billet prices continued to rise.
Turkey domestic manufacturer has offered with diameters of 6-7mm wire prices were at US$450-460/ton in Marmara area, increased by US$20/ton; Thrace area prices were at US$440-450/ton, increased by US$20/ton; Izmir area prices were at US$425-440/ton, increased by US$15/ton; Iskenderun area prices were at US$435-455/ton, increased by US$20/ton.
The above prices are based on actual weight calculation, not including VAT, ex-factory.
