It is reported that US steel mills announced to cut wire rod prices for October, due to falling steel scrap prices. In order to stimulate the market demand, steel mills continue to adjust wire rod prices further. After adjustment, US’s wire price was USD 450-470/short ton, ex-factory.
According to market participants pointed out that US’s steel scrap price will continue to drop in November and wire rod prices are likely to fall again.
