It was reported that Hyundai Steel, Tokyo Steel and other East Asian major electric furnace steel mills began to consider the purchase of Chinese scrap, and they might purchase it recently.
According to the statement from Hyundai’s related industry, Hyundai Steel and Tokyo Steel were actively consulting with Chinese mills, and Tokyo Steel began to consider the procurement of Chinese scrap recently.
If Chinese scrap could be exported, it would indeed be one of the options for importing scrap in the future.
