China’s auto sales & production

According to the report, China’s auto production was significantly down by nearly 80% in February from a year ago to 285,000 vehicles that had been produced countrywide.
As for the February auto sales in China, the number went to only 310,000 units, considerably fell by 79.1% from a year earlier.
Automakers and suppliers now put back their manufacturing schedules. It was said that the coronavirus epidemic and Spring Festival holiday were the major causes that were affecting the production and weakening of the demand.
