Thailand’s scrap imports rise in first six months-The 18th Guangzhou Die-casting, Foundry & Industry Furnace Exhibition

Thailand imported 63,000 tons of scrap steel in June this year, dropped 4.9% year on year, fell 31.1% month on month, 162,000 tons last month, the highest imports volume since 20 months.
Among them, Thailand imported 8000 tons of scrap from United States, dropped sharply of 72.7% year on year. Other countries imports were not more than 10,000 tons
During the first six months this year, Thailand imported 538,000 tons of scrap steel, rose 6.7% year on year, the average monthly import was 90,000 tons, an annual capacity of 1.08 million tons.
