Quintus Technologies, Västerås, Sweden, has received an order for a hydroform deep-draw press from the Whitcraft Group. The 11,600-PSI, high-pressure press will advance the production of jet engine sheet metal parts and assemblies at Whitcraft’s Eastford, Conn, facility and will serve as a demonstration site for the press.
Quintus Technologies designs, manufactures, installs, and supports high-pressure systems for sheet metal forming and densification of advanced materials and critical industrial components. The Whitcraft Group is a provider to the aerospace industry, offering concurrent engineering, manufacturing services, kitting, logistics support, and supply base management.
