It was reported that the aluminum products for auto radiator independently researched and developed by Jiuquan Iron & Steel (Group) Co. Ltd. (JISCO) were delivered to the end user as the first batch of products. It marked that the aluminum products produced by JISCO have entered the automobile industry successfully.
It was said that car radiators have always been made of copper, but with the development of automotive lightweight technology and the requirement of energy saving and emission reduction in China, the selection of heat exchangers for automotive air conditioners was becoming aluminum alloy. The weight can be reduced by 20%~45% if aluminum alloy replaced copper.
