Japanese steel plate inventory decreases by 0.5% in Apr m-o-m-The 20th China (Guangzhou ) Int’l Casting product Exhibition

According to the statistics from Hanwa Co., Ltd. (Hanwa), a Japanese trade company, the inventory of imported steel plate, hot-rolled coil and cold-rolled coil in the port of Tokyo and Osaka slightly decreased by 1,000 tons or 0.5% month on month to 184,000 tons by the end of April.
It was anticipated that the inventory would continue to reduce in the coming months because the overseas market prices were still growing.
Hanwa also pointed out that Japanese integrated steel mills had returned to a normal production level and increased domestic supply at the beginning of April after they solved the facility problem.
